Anyone prepared to bet that in another 10 years or so the children of her and Paul Simon will be singer-songwriters? With those genetics they've got to be, haven't they?
Ah but Harper Simon has already done a song with Edie (Paul's first child with Peggy in 1972) and I think Edie and Paul's first born has already sung backing vocals on Paul's 'Father and Daughter' form the 'Surprise' album....sorry you asked now aren't you...sorry I'm a Paul Simon junkie...

ReplyDeleteIn my extensive research (Wikipedia'd "Edie Brickell"), I did read about her song with Harper (great name!), but I didn't know about their child doing backing vocals.
I'll have to listen to that song that someone very kindly sent me (;^D) again.
