Great Moments In Cinema...

And TV - Part 31

The funeral bit of "Four Weddings And A Funeral"... and John Hannah out-acting everyone else in that film... with the beautiful poem "Funeral Blues" by W.H. Auden...

IMDb page for the film here: www.imdb.com/title/tt0109831/

Why should you watch this film?: I'm not really advocating that you should in this case... I was never really that keen on the film when it came out, and it really looks dated and very 90's nowadays, but I just loved John Hannah's acting in the funeral scene... and it still makes me want to cry, even now, 13 years later.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
