Now I Know How It Feels...
to be a sailor, home to his wife and family after a long voyage on the high seas!
Today I had a full day back at my own (untidier than when I left it) desk... beside my plants (which, incidentally, no one watered in my absence), and away from customers asking stupid questions... I've discovered shop work is certainly not my vocation in life - give me a computer and typing and stuff and I'm happy... well, happier than selling Tippex, anyway.
Of course, the downside of being back in the office is that I'm back facing the combined (half)wit of boss & flunky.
Shopgirl is back, still hobbling, but it's amazing the incentive to work that is found in a wage pack containing only SSP.... not that I'm suggesting she didn't need the time off... just if the inept doctors had realised her foot was broken in the first place, maybe she wouldn't have had such a bad time with it.
Well, I guess that's about all from me... It's been a bonny day today.

How far is Heroes in on the Sci-fi channel? Have you or not seen Christopher Ecclestone yet?
I ended up downloading every episode in one day lol it gets better and better. Hiro has to be one of the best characters on TV.
Christopher Ecclestone's been in it for a few weeks, but not in the last couple of episodes.
Last night we saw Linderman for the first time, and Sylar's got poor Peter pinned to the wall... nothing compared to what he's done to poor Mohinder!
I desperately want to see ahead, but I'm resisting coz my brother's watching it too, and he'd kill me if I revealed any plot twists to him. :-D
Without giving too much away if it's the one that I think it is and it finished with Hiro & Ando on the roof looking out over the city, then the next episode is a good one! It's the one that in the states folks had to wait 5 weeks for while the show had it's break.
That's the one!
5 WEEKS!? God, that would be a killer!
Mind you, I'm just facing the deprivation of the end of series 1 of "Ugly Betty" as well... so many cliffhangers!
