The Musical Interlude...

Subtitled: Shocking!

I work for an electrical shop, and although technically I'm in the office, I spend some time serving - and on a day like today, when the boss is on holiday and I'm the sucker who has to work, I'm all on my lonesome.

Anyway, on to the music.... Suede and "Electricity"...

I promise I didn't give them any advice on that wiring job! Although I would advise they find the main switch and TURN IT OFF!

Now, the second worst video likely to make you reach for the eye bleach... Electric 6 and "Danger! High Voltage!"...

That's just wrong...! (What's that? You want to know the most eye bleach video? It's their "Gay Bar" of course!)

I've picked up a kind of decent idea of cable sizes and things over the last 12 years I've been in the job (for different owners, but the same job), but sometimes I have to call upon my Higher Power (the boss), and on days when he's not here, I do tend to panic every time a customer comes in, in case they want anything technical like a doodah for their whatnot, or a 5 pin flange inverter with triple lutz!

This morning I've already had to measure off 40 bloody metres of coaxial cable! Grrrr...
