I try not to admit it, but if you promise not to tell anyone, I'm prepared to own up to the fact that my very eclectic music taste very occasionally strays into *whispers* country & western territory (oh, the shame)... and so I'll share this one with you, coz I love the words...

My mum is a huge country fan, so I was bought up on the likes of Kenny Rogers. Country can be good when it's done well and not in cheesy lyrics mode. I put a band on my blog today called Tiny Dancers whose album is heavily influenced by country music. There's also a band called The Hazey Janes (Neil Young and Elton band names) from Scotland who are also in the same genre.
