Woo-hoo! I've waited ages for a member of this band to have a birthday (okay, technically I've only waited from 1st January until now, because that's how long I've been doing this feature... but they're a damn good band, from Scotland, and I've been really negligent towards them in my postings)...

Mar. 20th, 1972 - Alexander Paul Kapranos Huntley is born (in Almondsbury, England - so he's not Scottish as you might think) to an English mother and Greek father - later he would drop the "Huntley" his father had adopted, and become known as Alex Kapranos... lead singer of Franz Ferdinand...
