Aug. 4th, 1901 - The great Satchmo, or Louis Armstrong, was born... he died in 1971, but is still well-known today...

Aug. 5th, 1947 - LOL... this is turning into a "1st dance at weddings" post, because this was the day Gary "Angry" Anderson was born... Australian singer, most famous in this country for "Suddenly", which was used as the theme for Scott & Charlene's wedding in "Neighbours" (go on... admit it... I bet you watched it, and I bet you cried!)...
