Born To Rock...

Dec. 12th, 1976 - Daniel Francis Hawkins, former guitarist with The Darkness, and now lead guitarist with Stone Gods, was born...

We go back to the start, with The Darkness, and "I Believe In A Thing Called Love"...

Born To Rock...

Feb. 20th, 1976 saw the birth of Ed Graham, drummer with The Darkness - God, how I miss them...

I instantly fell for "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" when I first heard it - It was played every day for a week by Jo Whiley on her radio show, long before it was released as a single (before The Darkness released ANY singles, in fact). By about the 3rd time of hearing it, I was down at our local record shop begging for any news on release date for the single... but it was a loooooooong wait.

Anyway, not "I Believe..." tonight... Instead, you get "Growing On Me"...
