to issue a public apology and retraction of a previous post.
You remember I told you about our new file server dying, and my brother coming to fix it? And I think I may have said that after 5pm it was "finally" working?
Well, I've been asked to inform you that the file server was up and working again within about an hour after we phoned him to come and fix it... and that the new drive couldn't be fitted while we were all using the network, so that's why it had to wait until after 5pm.
So, dear brother, I'm sorry for besmirching your character!
