Shallow Al

Two for you tonight, and two of perhaps my more "unconventional" choices - and 2 of my Scottish choices, because a reasonable number on my list are from north o' the border. It must be something in the water up here (and also, the Scottish accent - especially Glasgow / Edinburgh area - can be really sexy).

First up, Glaswegian actor David Hayman, who plays Chief Supt Mike Walker in the "Trial & Retribution" series of dramas... I don't know what it is about him - maybe it's the scar...

And then Ken Stott, from Edinburgh this time. He plays DCI Red Metcalfe in the "Messiah" series, and took over from John Hannah to play "Rebus" in 2006.

I first saw Ken Stott back in about 1991 in "Taking Over The Asylum", a BBC Scotland drama he did with current Doctor Who, David Tennant (who will also be making an appearance in this shameful display of sexism).

See... I told you some of my choices were... less than obvious...

Ken Stott..nope no way..i just find something off about him..you know when they publish a profile of someone bad in the paper..eg..a criminal..and you look and say..yep it's him..he looks guilty..well that's how i feel about the second fellow..hahaha
