Saturday Night & Sunday...

After a really quiet day at work yesterday, all on my lonesome and stuck out on the industrial estate from 8am - 5pm, I went down to see my brother for a bit... stopping to pick up a much-needed bucket of coffee on the way. Stayed with him for a while, and then it was home via the video shop to pick up a couple of DVDs to watch.

Got home, stuck on a pizza, and then settled down with a film (The Prestige... which was okay, but - and don't read this if you've not seen it - I felt really cheated coz (in my view) the bad guy won in the end), a bottle of lager, and a cat lying on top of me (at least she let me eat my pizza first).

And today I've done very little... I need my rest on Sunday, seeing as it's the only day off I get (but don't get me started on the boss again). I made a stir-fry for lunch, with enough left over for tomorrow, and I watched another DVD (A Night At The Museum... which, again, was okay... but Ben Stiller is one of the few actors whose films usually disappoint me - Adam Sandler's another... and Will Ferrell... it's like they try just that bit too hard, and the jokes are pushed so far they're no longer funny... Does anyone else think that?). Other than that, I've watched some other crap on telly, cuddled the cat, and slept...

And now I'm going to get myself ready for bed, then I can psyche myself up to face tomorrow...
