Nu Shooz

No, not the cheesy 80's band... that's what (some of) my winnings went on yesterday, coz - Sod's Law - the pair I was wearing split on Friday. Still, I picked up a pair for £17, so I had £9 left over... and because of the winnings, I could actually afford a pair, and don't have to tape the old pair up to make them last a bit longer.

Came home from work last night, had something to eat, and then spent the rest of the evening with a cat sat on me... Minnie's become very loving the last few days (she's usually quite an independent cat), and poor Harriet (who's more clingy) doesn't get the chance for a cuddle... and she's feeling very down and jealous - to the point that she doesn't even purr or nudge me when I stroke her.

Boss still away... and work's slow...
