and ask blessings and a safe return for my soppy cat, Harriet, who I've not seen for almost a week now.

I leave the bedroom window open all day, so she could be coming in when I'm not around, but I'm getting really worried... This is just not like her.

My brother has had a look around and he says (thank God) that there's no sign of her lying on the road anywhere, so hopefully she hasn't been run down.

Please, gods, bring her home to me... I don't know what I'd do without her...
