Wednesday...
College was first on the agenda this morning... and I finished an old exam paper, reasonably confident as I was doing it - and then I looked at the answers... I'd made a few silly mistakes. Why can't I get to grips with a simple thing like average cost as a method of costing stock? I mean, First In First Out is easy, Last In First Out is easy... working out the average price of all your stock should be easy enough - and I just know that that's going to be the stock record card that's going to turn up in the exam.
Then I went and had a look at the house... and I really don't know. It's nice, and I love the lane that it's in... there's a big high wall across from the house and behind that there's trees, so there's rooks around and it's lovely and hidden away. But the house is so small... there's no separate kitchen, just a kitchenette... and my fridge would have to go in the one cupboard that's there for storage. And then in the bedroom there's a peedie wardrobe type cupboard in the corner, room for a bed, and maybe just room for a chest of drawers too... In the sitting room, I'd get the TV, a couch and maybe a desk for my computer, but that'd be about it. On the upside, there's carpets in the place, which don't look like they've been there that long... and it's very plainly decorated, but decorated all the same. There's a shower in the bathroom (I don't like baths). But there's only a communal drying area, and no garden at all for the cats.
So I just don't know...
Work's been average this afternoon (I'm still here, "working", because I've got to go to the doctor tomorrow morning for a check-up before I get another repeat prescription of the old happy pills).
And on that note, at quarter to 8, I think I'll skedaddle...
