Yesterday & Today... Work...

Yesterday was one of those days... I arrived at the office, and had been there about 20 minutes, when the shopgirl phoned to say she was in the shop but had a migraine and was having to keep dashing to the loo to be sick... so I had to drop everything and go down to let her go home and rest for a while, and see how she felt in the afternoon.

At the shop, with the boss' wife, 'til about half past 1 (when I went for dinner) and, when I came back, shopgirl arrived - feeling better, so I could go back up to the office.

Today, however, I got a text before I left the house... "Shopgirl's off again this morning. Can you go down the shop 'til we see what's happening?" - and that's where I spent all damned day. Boss' wife was in again from just before 10am 'til about 3pm, but shopgirl wasn't able to come in in the afternoon.

I'm up at the office again tomorrow. Oh, what jolly fun(!)

Still, the grocery shopping's done, so that's something that doesn't need to be done tomorrow night... I think tomorrow night might just involve a pizza, a dvd, and a bucket of wine or something similarly alcoholic!

Well, that's me - Rant over, news out of the way... I'm going to bugger off to bed!
