The Musical Interlude... Extra...
Subtitled: Video Killed The Radio Star...
For those of you who are Radio 1 listeners, and who hear Edith Bowman in the afternoons, you'll be familiar with the feature she does when someone picks a topic that they're talking about that day, and gets everyone involved... and then she picks a song that kind of suits the topic.
Well, today's topic was allergies, and I was listening to it in the shop as I covered dinner... and there were no customers, and I was bored... so I picked up my mobile and fired off a quick text (as I've done a few times before)... It said (roughly)...
"Kiwi fruit make my lips & mouth itchy! And what about "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins as the track? Ally, Orkney"
And at roughly 10 minutes to 2... my text was read out, and they played a snatch of Phil!
It's amazing how something so small left me grinning from lughole to lughole!
So, since they didn't pick my track (going for "Can't Touch This" by M.C. Hammer), here's my offering...

I thought your choice was a good one, Edith seemed to think so too. Unfortunately she didn't read mine about the tomato allergy :(
