No News Is... Em... No News...
Again.
Well, there's 3 things sort of happening... none of which I can really tell you about yet...
First thing's a work thing that I've been dying to tell you for months, but it's not official yet. It's dragged on for ages, but hopefully should be all sorted very soon, and I can let you know.
Second thing is that I've been offered another house, but it needs a lot of repairs done before it's ready to move into. It's going to be about a month before it's ready to even view, the council have said. I'm really hoping that it's going to be suitable, because - on the plus side (least, I THINK it's a plus) - it's just around the corner from my brother, and from where I spent the first 10 years of my life, so it'll be almost like going home. On the minus side is that it's near to flats and a place for offenders - and I shouldn't be pre-judging them, but the Sheriff Court quite frequently has cases with addresses "c/o SACRO, *address*". I mean, it's usually offences like burglary and damage, not murderers & rapists, but still... Also, it's on a busier road than where I am at the moment, and there's a "small" garden at the back, so the cats would have to learn serious road sense... But I'll let you know in a month or so...
Third thing might be happening around August, but I'm not saying anything yet so I don't jinx it... Let's just say I might be getting a visitor. Last time I was looking forward to friends coming, it all fell through, so this time I'm not tempting fate...
