For Nev...

Here's Nev!

It's not a very good photo, but that was the camera on my phone, without a flash!

You can see where he lives though...

MY Mantelpiece...

I've come back especially to do this - I've not even had my tea yet, and my bottle of rum & lime is waiting in the fridge until I decide on a DVD... but I promised you this...

I present, MY mantelpiece, with MY tat!

Main mantelpiece (l-r)... my Laughing Buddha (I have about 8 of these in various sizes and materials); my jade Buddha; my Momiji (which 3 friends will recognise coz they got sent similar ones with a little message shoved up their bums (the Momiji, not the friends)... and it's a slot in the bottom, not really up their erse); another Buddha thingy; a wee Peruvian panpipe band thing I found in the Red Cross Shop once; a photo of my previous moggy - Thomas O'Malley; a photo of the current cats; and then a variety of cat ornaments (including "Cool Cat" Scott & Julie sent me)...

Then the shelf at the left (l-r)... my Baby Dragons (who I named - l-r we have Bruno, Ember, Frazzle, Sparkle's asleep, and Flame); and then my Smash Martian from when I was wee and I thought had been chucked out until Dad produced him a few years ago - sometimes his hoarding was good!

And finally, the shelf at the right of the fire (l-r)... the Leo mug I got from Julie & Scott; a wee fairy; another fairy on a unicorn; a Chinese style figure; the Nanny Ogg & Greebo my brother & sister-in-law gave me; my Russian Dolls; and a huge vase almost chockablock of tumble polished gemstones my sis-in-law started me collecting by giving me about 30 almost 15 years ago, and which I haven't counted in years...

The Mantlepiece

The photos I promised are coming... I uploaded them to Blogger last night, but when I wrote the blurb for them this morning and tried to publish the post there were problems with some of the html tags not being closed (must have buggered something up somewhere) and it wouldn't publish.... Grrr....

It's hard to make a blog look this wonderful (lol) when you don't know what the hell you're doing!
