What's Another Year?

Well, yesterday I hit the big 3-4... no longer EARLY 30's, coz they go from 30 - 33... I'm now MID 30's (34 - 36)... but I'm assured by Julie that we women are like fine wine and get better with age, whereas men must be more like milk, coz they've got a "Best Before" date! :-D

Did I do anything exciting for my birthday? Did I heck as like! Work, spending most of the day listening to Flunky going "43? Fuck, that's a fair age!" or "What age are you now? 46?" - Cheeky bugger... I'll get my own back next year when he's 30!

Then I came home and I'd arranged my night with the home support workers for tonight instead of Thursday (coz they've got the day off)... forgetting that it was my birthday! So I spent from about quarter to 6 til just gone 8pm washing Mum's bloody ornaments and packing them in boxes - God, how I would have loved to have had a rubbish skip and just taken a shelf at a time and tipped them in! On the plus side, I've now got an empty cupboard in the corner that I can fill with my DVD's!

After that, I was down at the shop to do the till, and then down to my brother's coz he'd invited me down for a chip shop tea for my birthday. There til about half past 10 or so. Came home and managed a quick session online.
