Born To Rock...

Today's is not exactly a musician... but it's an excuse to post a couple of fun clips...

Sep. 24th, 1936 - Jim Henson, creator of The Muppets, was born.

My phone's ring tone, so if I take a while to answer when you phone me, it's because I'm bopping along to this - "Mnah Mnah"...

And Beaker does "Ode To Joy"...

(Yes, the choices weren't too great today... How did you guess?)

Mouldy Cheese

This was my brother's suggestion for a cheese post, but it's disallowed because it's not from the 80's... but I can't resist posting it anyway...

Kermit The Frog's nephew Robin and "Halfway Down The Stairs"...

I remember having the 7" single of this in the house when I was little, and it was pink!

Great Moments In Cinema...

And TV - Part 28

Statler & Waldorf compilation from "The Muppet Show" - Along with The Swedish Chef (Hurdy, burdy, gurdy), and Beaker, they were my favourite characters...

I used to love watching this... seeing all the big stars joining in and merrily being sent up by a bunch of puppets!

It's time to play the music,
It's time to light the lights,
It's time to meet the Muppets,
On The Muppet Show tonight!
